Author: I am looking into the medical transcription certificate offered at our community college, and I am curious to know what the job is really like? What are the chances of being employed once certified? I would rather not waste my time and money on the program if I am not able to find a job. I have researched online however I would like to talk with someone who has first hand experience.

there are tens of thousands with that certificate that can not find work, it is quickly becoming a scam, the only people making money are the ones giving the classes
There is only one certifying authority for the CMT or RMT certifications. Any certificate provided by another entity is just a certificate of completion.
