Author: Trouble considering the consequences of actions, lack of genuine emotion. Even if something feels completely wrong, and you feel like you shouldn’t do it, that it could emotionally hurt the people you love. And you wish you cared but you just don’t give a damn for some reason.

I have a friend and a close relative with these exact signs and they are psychopaths and they were just born like this.My relatives mother smoked crack and drank beer everyday as she was going to abort him’ but she was so busy [not] that she didn’;t care.He has no emotions and cannot even say the word love and when he does something wrong or hurtful he just smiles.He will have a hard life but i am putting him in my life . so i can show him that there is love and with therapy maybe he can change.You could get therapy too, and maybe some meds would help too.
psychopaths have a general lack of emotion
they don’t preseve emotions of others, thus making it hard for them to understand the emotions of others
mostly we think of psychopaths as serial killers, which they can be
but they can also be a CEO who takes money from his employees with no guilt
you should go to a therapist to be diagnosed

Detachment such as this can be a sign of depression. I’m assuming you’re not a sociopath. That assumption being made, I would try an antidepressant. Lack of serotonin can strip you of any genuine emotion (except sadness). And you certainly don’t care too much about others when you yourself are falling off of a cliff.

borderline personality disorder. A symptom is u usually, not caring about what happens to others and you make reckless actions. Another one is feeling an emptiness, but to really know go check up with your doctor.
