I read an article last week about a disease called FOP (Fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva) It causes musles, tendons or ligaments in the body to turn to bone. It is called the gradual process of "turning to stone".Eventually FOP does result in total paralysis of the body and is fatal. Most people with the condition do not live past thirty. Can this be the worst disease to die from?
That sounds a lot like sclaroderma (sp?), but I would think depression would be the worst.
i’de say cancer. cuz u can get it at any age, die really, really slowly, and lose all your hair in the process… cuz of chemo. sad huh..
I dont think death by any disease or illness is particularly pleasant. Somebody said death by depression is the worst… I have to disagree there because it is not the depression that kills, its the individuals response at dealing with the depression that is potentially lethal. It doesnt physically eat away at your muscles or turn your body to stone.
EDIT the person who said depression has removed their answer so apologies if my response makes no sense.
