Author: My husband is on an antibiotic for his sinus infection. He is also on prednisone, but I can’t remember the name of the antibiotic. He hasn’t taken anything since thursday, but he has anal bleeding that is consistent throughout the day. SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY PLEASE!

How do you know the he is bleeding from the rectum. What color is the blood? Why is he on a steroid? Why did he stop his antibiotics.
He got the rhoids
I can say this much, Prednisone (a steroid) dose not mix well with antibiotics! I had a throat infection earlier this year and the Prednisone actually made it worse!
I do not know if your husband is having a reaction to the steroid or not, he very well could just have hemorrhoids on top of everything else. But I would suggest that he (or you) call his doctor and let him know what is going on, then follow his advice.
