Really depending on your location your chances could range from very small to large. For example you chances of contracting west nile virus or malaria is higher in more humid areas with stagnant water such as Florida, Georgia, and Louisiana. Other deadly diseases can be contracted any where. Things like STDs, skin cancer, and various cancers associated with smoking. The best way to prevent being a victim of a deadly disease is to not smoke, wear sunscreen, wear insect repellent, and practice safe sex.

Stay out of Hospitals. More people get sick in hospitals then anywhere else. Avoid personal contact, especially if you have broken skin (cut, scrape etc.) to minimize infections. Stay out of the woods (ticks cause limes disease). Ensure all food is thoroughly cooked to avoid food born diseases. Don't fly (plane crashes), don't drive (car crashes), don't swim (drowning), don't play or dance or ride a bike or roller skate. (Physical injury).
Just stay in bed and pull the blanket over your head.

What fun would it be? You might live longer, but look how your quality of life suffers if you have to beware of everything. (Some of the above info is actually not bad, just don't over do it.)
