so my family and i have just recently moved into a new apartment. the first week we slept there my parents woke up itchy so they slept downstairs for a couple weeks. my brother and i on the other hand, havent been bitten. but when my bf comes over to spend the night with me he wakes up with a lot of bug bites. so my questions are: what are these bugs? and why is it selective?

I’m 14 and a female and want to do sports in high school so I know I’m going to have to get a physical. I had oral once and I was wondering if they ask any sexual questions like that and if you have to say yes even though it was just oral. Also does the doctor keep it confidential from my parents or do they tell them about it.

I have stuttering and mild tourettes since I was 11 (I am 16 now) and my parents still refuse to accept that I have stuttering and occasional tourettes; I don’t know why they can’t just accept that I do. What can I do to get them to believe it? Also if possible, what can I do to rid of this disorder?

I’m almost 20, still living at home with my parents, and I’m under their insurance plan. I haven’t had a physical in years, so I want to get my testicles checked out but don’t want to tell my parents about that. What kind of doctor would I see for that? Do I need insurance to visit a doctor? If so, would my parents find out through their insurance provider that I went to see a doctor?

I bought some new mattreses for my parents and we’ve always put them out in the sun but a few weeks later we found bed bugs hiding underneath the sides of the mattress eventhough we put the mattress in the sun. My Dad even had to get rid of his mattress cause we couldn’t get rid of the bed bugs.

I entered high-school recently. My gym coach makes us run two laps (0.5 miles) every class. I developed shin splints from this.

I looked around the Internet, and discovered that the best way to cure shin splints is to not run. How can I avoid running and keep my grade up?

He does not accept doctor notes or notes from parents.

I’m 15 & today I had to go to the doctor for a possible UTI (urinary tract infection). Thus, I had to provide a urine sample. I smoked for the second time 3 days ago, only 2 hits from a joint. Will she still be able to find traces of the THC in my urine? And if she does, will she tell my parents?

I am 14. I think I might have hand foot and mouth disease. I have small blisters on my hands, a few small ones on my feet, and my mouth is full of sores. How long does this last? Am I safe to go to school? Is there anyway to subside the pain? Help. ):
I have let my parents know. I am supposed to be leaving for an East Coast trip for school in 2 days. Should I go?

I’m 21, I need to go to the doctor’s like NOW. I am on my parents’ insurance but I cannot let them know about this doctor’s visit, and I’m also kinda broke. What do I do? Call different doctors’ offices to see if they take my insurance? Will I still have to pay some even if they do take it? And will my parents see it on the insurance?
