Is there an online school that allows me to get certified? Or allows me to get a degree? Does anyone know the steps I need to take to become a (Both online or not online) Medical Transcriptionists?

What is the best online school to attend for becoming a medical transcriptionist? Am trying to avoid all the scams. Would love to hear from medical transcriptionists and what school they went to.Also what is the pay like? Ive heard anywhere from 25k to 100k

How many years of college does it require? good Paying job? Enjoyable? I’m looking for something to go to college for, maybe later in life do out of the home, I want something decent paying, but also enjoyable. I’m not sure what I want to do. Any medical transcriptionists out there? any advice? any thoughts on ANY other good jobs? lol im stuck…

I’m in my late 30′s and thinking of going back to school. I would like it if someone in the medical field could tell me if they even use medical transcriptionists or if it is all done on computers. If I spend my money on school I’d like to know if I would be hired. If not, any suggestions about what is in demand (I don’t want to be a nurse). Thanks so much!

Is it true that with voice recognition software that medical transcriptionists will be out of jobs? Supposed to finish registration with Everett Community College tomorrow but heard the rumor today that it would be a waste of time and money. Please help me. Would it be more sensible to switch to medical billing and coding? The more answers I get the better to figure out what to do. Thank you in advance for helping me.

I am searching for medical transcriptionists and would like to know the average rate they charge per line.

I’m about to subcontract a few MT’s and would like to have an idea of the going rates for MT’s?

If possible i’m looking for rates within the united states and offshore.

Note: I’m also looking into the quality of the work, as well. But that’s another story.
