I am looking for a medical transcription class

I want to do online school for Medical Transcription. I have no clue what schools are good and what ones are scams. I was looking into Ashworth because it is so inexpensive. But I have been reading that it is just a scam… So Please let me know about good schools! Thanks!

I have recently graduated in medical transcription. I hear it is VERY hard to find your first job. I have applied to two companies that I know often hire recent graduates. Does anyone know of any other companies out there that hire recent graduates for medical transcription?

I am a stay-at-home mother with a chemical engineering degree but made a career change to medical transcription about a year ago so I can take home-based jobs and be more "available" to my children.

I have worked as an office based medical transcriptionist in the Pathology field for approximately 6 years. I am interested in working at home typing medical transcription.

I am considering getting trained to work at home doing medical transcription. I had some training doing this years ago but it wasn’t adequate to get employment. I really enjoy using medical terminology, I like to type, and am computer literate. Can anyone tell me what the earnings are like, what is your typical day like? I’d love to get a response from anyone who can give me some good information.

I have done some research and keep receiving conflicting information. Some people say that medical transcription is great and finding an at home job is not too difficult. Others say that without at least 2 years experience an at home job is impossible.
