I heard that there was a disease in which fecal matter does not exit the body and goes into the legs and other areas instead. Is this a real disease/condition and what is the name of it?

My grandmother was diagnosed with MM about a month ago. Since then she has lost the use of both legs is bed ridden and is now has numbness in her right hand and foot. The doctors told her she would be back to herself in about a month. She has only had 2 treatments of radiation and her pain is unmanageable. She is 86 years of age.

My step-dad is in Stage 4 liver disease.

Thumbs down not from me!

I noticed lately I’ve been shaking and twitching uncontrollably (my legs mostly), within the past few days. I’ve been diagnosed before as having a panic disorder (and prescribed to Lexapro though I haven’t taken it) so is this just another symptom associated with anxiety? I often confuse my symptoms and blow them up into something much bigger and this causes me to get even more anxious and nervous. How do I determine when or whether or not my anxiety is bothering me? How do I counteract it? What are symptoms of anxiety I should look for?

My 2 year old had fifth disease three weeks ago. Yesterday we were out in the heat for about half an hour and she got a rash that looks like what she had with fifth disease. It’s on her arms, legs and back, raised red bumps. I’ve heard that the rash from fifth disease comes and goes, but for how long? I’m just trying to figure out if this is the same rash or something new that we need to worry about.

why do legs start swelling after prolonged periods of sitting? Is this some sort of disease? How to Cure it?

Every morning I wake up with more and more bites on me. Earlobe, arm, back, legs… They itch but are not painful. Yesterday I took all my covers off and saw a small, triangular, brown bug. It looked like a bed bug but not one I had seen before. I’m thinking of using a Bug Bomb (also known as a Fogger) to get rid of them, but my friend said they will return later on. Is there a permanent way to get rid of bed bugs?

Sometimes at night or at other times my legs and calves feel very restless and it feels like I have to keep moving, kicking, or walking around. This feeling is annoying and uncomfortable. Sometimes I get it when I’m in a movie theater and I don’t want to excuse myself from the seat but its almost unbearable to not stand up and walk around. Anyone know the cause or cure for this?

I have a 10 yr. old daughter with Blount’s disease, and we would prefer to use natural methods to cure her and straighten her legs. I would also like to know some case histories of children like her, i.e. in her age group with Blount’s Disease, who have been treated using natural remedies and cured.

It’s not an immobilizing or severe pain; it’s just strong enough for her to complain about it.

The pain is throughout the whole of both legs; she says it’s in her knees, behind the knee, her ankle, her toes, the arch, the instep, her calves, etc.

The thing is, we don’t know exactly what kind of doctor to make an appointment with.

Should it be her regular every day doctor? An orthopedic doctor? A rheumatologist?

The pain is through such a wide area we’re not sure which one to go for.
