Have scoliosis, My back is hurting bad. Old doctor prescribed quite a few pain medications and darvocets to be the latest and they don’t work. Now i got a new doctor and i was wondering if i tell him what my last doctor prescribed me and that they didn’t work, will he prescribe something else? And what might it be?
Had to change doctors because i lost my medical insurance and now having to go to a regular doctor to treat my pain.
My regular doctor sent me to a specialist. I have insurance, but there is a deductible. The office staff said I had to pay up front or they won’t let me see the doctor. They won’t even tell me the price, but that 965 was the max they’d charge me. Health New England said it was between me and the doctor, but that they should be seeing me on co-pay only, billing insurance, then billing me the remainder.
I don’t have insurance so I really need to be sent to the right doctor the first time. Is there a pill that they will give me or how can they help me?
I don’t have health insurance because I’m a poor poor college student, and I feel like I need to go to the doctor for a check-up or something. Also, I need to go to the dentist. I don’t want to go to one of these small town doctors if they’re going to charge me lots of money. What is the cheapest way or place to go to the doctor? Any ideas?
Applied for life insurance. The Doctor was contacted repeatedly over the course of 6 weeks and hasn’t returned a call, sent records or otherwise responded. Aside from getting a new Doctor, what recourse do I have?
I’m 21, I need to go to the doctor’s like NOW. I am on my parents’ insurance but I cannot let them know about this doctor’s visit, and I’m also kinda broke. What do I do? Call different doctors’ offices to see if they take my insurance? Will I still have to pay some even if they do take it? And will my parents see it on the insurance?
My fiance has developed some health problems lately, and getting out of the house is getting hard on her. She doesn’t have health insurance and needs to come up with a job paying for it. We’ve considered work from home, but a lot of work from home opportunities are scams. I’ve heard that Medical Transcription is legit, but we don’t know where to start, or even how to tell the scams from the real thing. How does a person start from scratch to get into medical transcription?
I just purchased health insurance, I haven’t seen a doctor for a check up in over 10 years. I want to go to get a full check up from cholesterol check to everything else. Am I supposed to select an OB/Gyn or do general docs do pap smears too? And if I select an ob do they also do lab tests for hormone/cholesterol etc tests?
I have a cyst or something on the inside of my mouth, on the inside of my cheek. Thanks to my insurance plan I can skip the primary care physician and go straight to the specialist to take care of this. What kind of doctor would do this? Would a general practitioner be able to take care of this?
I thought oral surgeons only worked on teeth?
I’ve recently been diagnosed with lyme disease, and it’s been pretty brutal. I’ve been given antibiotics to handle the infection itself, but my insurance won’t cover medication to deal with the arthritis that’s developed as a symptom. It hurts too much to walk, sit up straight, move my left arm or even turn my neck. Does anyone here have suggestions for dealing with nasty joint pain like this? I’m only 18 and start school soon.
