How does depression lead to heart disease?

Could you please include some website with that?

Where can I get some images of this too?

Heart disease is preventable and more important reversible through dietary intervention. See Dr. Dean Ornish, Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn, Jr., and Dr. John McDougall. If a dietary change could be put into a pill, it would be the most prescribed drug in the world.

How often does your doctor discuss dietary changes with you?

I have been considering changing my diet to vegetarian because of my personal and family health history including heart disease, strokes and blood disorders. My boyfriend is overweight and has heart problems and diabetes. What diet would be best for us?

What is the difference between an atheroma, atherosclerosis and ischaemic heart disease?

So I know that getting gingivitis can cause heart disease and stroke but when people tell you that information they never tell you how or why which is really baffling. You’d think if someone is stating a fact they tell you the reason why. So how is this all connected? why do you get heart disease and/or stroke from gingivitis?

Even though we know that Heart Disease has been the number one killer in the US for decades, how come we have not made more headway in decreasing the rates?

I am a 26 year old female with a blood pressure ranging from 116-118/76-78. I have never had hypertension. I am obese, however, with a strong family history of heart disease on my father’s side. I know what I need to do to be healthy, so please – no lectures. My specific question is regarding the likelihood of having coronary artery disease or severe atherosclerosis without any hypertension. Not just applying to me, either, but generally speaking. Thank you.

Is there a way to completely, 100% prevent heart disease? Or is there a way that just hasn’t been found yet? Or is it impossible by nature?
Thanks for the answers! I find it curious, though, that heart disease is only present in developed countries. It is a "Western disease", and hasn’t been around for all that long. I don’t know exactly how long, but if you go a certain amount of years back in history there was no such thing as heart disease, cancer, and diabetes.
