I went to the er on tuesday thinking that I had a kidney stone. They did a CAT scan and determined that I ruptured an ovarian cyst. I have been having a type of pulling feeling on the side of the cyst along with nausea and a persistent achey feeling (kind of like when you get a cold or the flu). Is this normal? Thank you.

I plan on seeing a doctor this week. For the past couple of weeks, I’ve been having migraines to the point of vomiting.

What should I expect when I see the doctor? What kind of questions will they ask? Will they schedule me for a CAT scan?

This girl developed generalized seizures. A CAT scan revealed a single brain lesion consistent with a tumor. Biopsy of the lesion showed a cysticerus. The patient lived in South Carolina and had never traveled outside the state. What parasite caused her disease? How is the disease transmitted? How might it be prevented?
