Who is responsible when bed bugs are found in an apartment? Is the landlord responsible for getting rid of the infestation? We didn’t have this problem in our last apartment, it happen after we moved – I think the apartment whole building has got it.
How I can be responsible forit when they will spray for every other kind of bug – roaches, ants ect ect . . . .

Also how does one go about proving it was already here? It’s my word against their’s isn’t it?
Bill, that’s why I am on the computer at 3.27am and not in bed. Every time I feel the slightest itch I am out of my bed like a shot of lightening but at this rate I won’t be getting any sleep at all for weeks until I can get this place under control.

I wish I could just drop everything and run for the hills but alas I cannot.

Zero – I did read through my lease and no where in it does it implicitly state who is repsonsible for pest control, it simply says they can enter your home to spray if you aren’t there to let them in.

I have been finding these little bugs but I’m not sure if the bed bugs they look like they’re fussy and they are really little. I haven’t found a lot I have only found 4, 1 like 6 months ago and 3 yesterday in the fur of my ugg boots.they look dead unless u touch them then they start moving, and I don’t think I have gotten any bites. How do I no if they are bed bugs and hiw do I get rid of them??

Ok, so around the beginning of February I moved into my Aunt’s house. She doesn’t have much money and it’s not the cleanest place. In the inconvenient situation, me, my twin sister, and my two cousins all had to share a bunk bed. The matresses were old… I slept on the bottom and my sister slept on the top.

After a few days I started to notice red itchy spots on my feet and arms, then I eventually got a few basically everywhere. After one night of sleeping on the bottom bunk, my sister, who didn’t have any bumps, started getting the bumps. They’re your typical bed bug bites. Some of them were in clusters of three. We went to the doctors who comfirmed them as bed bugs.

My question: Why didn’t either of my cousins get them? My other cousin, who always slept in the bottom bunk (which had the worse infestation) never got them. Was is because they had been living there for a long time and their bodies were used to it?

I must stay at a YMCA this weekend and I’ve heard there Might be bed bugs. What methods of prevention might you suggest? Essential oils? Garlic? Pagan circles? Steak? …but seriously….help?

lately i been waking up with bites on me.it looks like i got bitten by a mosquito,but it’s winter time so I know it can’t be a mosquito.So i’m wondering if it could be bed bugs?

The bed bugs were brought in from a tenant down the way and now we are being told by our landlord that it is our responsibility to pay for it.

I think I have a bed bug infestation. I keep getting bites that produce a large welp with infection in it. I thought it was fleas but now I think it is bed bugs. What are the differences btw the two and what do I need to do to get rid of them. I have not had any bites on my feet and ankles, only the top of my leg and under my arms. I have a cat, but he does not have any fleas on him. I do not know what else to do. My boyfriend is getting bit as well, none of his are on his ankles or feet either. Is this bed bugs. Please help
