I know the better choice is to see a Podiatrist but you’ve to make an appointment with one, and the wait would take about a week or more. And i don’t have more time to waste cause i’ve missed out on 6 papers of my GCE examination papers.

So does seeing a regular doctor(which no appointment is needed) for Ingrown Toenail infection helps?
What are the chances that would happen?

My boyfriend is in Iraq. He may need to come home on a medical leave because he is experiencing excruciating pain in his joints (maybe something like gout). He is also running a high grade fever.

What type of doctor should I make him an appointment with? Regular doctor? Sports medicine doctor?

While i’m waiting for my root planing appointment, are there any downsides to rinsing with hydrogen peroxide to treat periondontal disease? I have a generic brand bottle of 3% hydrogen peroxide. How often should I rinse with it? Does the hydrogen peroxide kill the good bacteria too? Should you rinse with water right after the hydrogen peroxide? Can the hydrogen peroxide make periodontal disease worse by irritating the gums more?

I’m supposed to film my audition for a performing arts school tomorrow. I have an appointment at two and I’m singing. The problem is I have a cold and I sound really congested. I dont need to completely cure it, i just need to sound good when i sing tomorrow. Please help!!!! Oh, and I can’t reschedule because I’m leaving town tomorrow night.

We have decided this is the best option for us. But does he have to schedule an appointment with his primary physican first or how does this work? What kind of doctor does this procedure? Thanks for all the answers <3

If I phone a doctor to try to schedule an appointment, the secretary usually says the doctor is booked up for the next six to nine months, thank you very much. By that time I’ll either be dead or recovered. However, if my primary care physician makes an appointment with another doctor, it’s usually within a few days. So why can another doctor get an appointment so quickly while the patient attempting to get an appointment is put off indefinitely?

It’s not an immobilizing or severe pain; it’s just strong enough for her to complain about it.

The pain is throughout the whole of both legs; she says it’s in her knees, behind the knee, her ankle, her toes, the arch, the instep, her calves, etc.

The thing is, we don’t know exactly what kind of doctor to make an appointment with.

Should it be her regular every day doctor? An orthopedic doctor? A rheumatologist?

The pain is through such a wide area we’re not sure which one to go for.
