Author: On a lot of antihistamine and sinus medications it says to consult your doctor if you have thyroid disease. What is the reason for this? I have hypothyroid and a bad cold so I need to take something so I can sleep. I know this is a question I should ask my doctor (and I intend to when I see her on Monday) but is it dangerous for me to take sinus medication?

My husband had a long flight last week.Since then he has been having head ache,runny or blocked nose, body aches & pains.Aspirin&Ibuprofen did not work so he took antihistamine then strong cold/flu over the counter medicine (containing Acetaminophen, phenylephrine) then he lost consciousness for a short time! Is there any cure to treat his symptom quick? he has been sick for 7 days,,over Christmas.
