I’ve got kidney disease, stage 3 and I’m a 16 year old girl. I’m not planning on drinking any time soon, I don’t drink but I was wondering if later in life if I’ll ever be able to have alcohol? How much?
Thanks for your answers!

I just finished my first semester of college but Ive been drinking for about two years. Before college, I drank heavily (8-9 drinks) very rarely (once every four or five months). Now that im in college, I’ve been drinking heavily(8-9 drinks) almost every weekend for about three months. I’ve been recently feeling a weird "full" feeling in my right rib cage and I am concerned it is some problem with my liver. Could it be fatty liver disease, given the amount of alcohol I consume?

I know that craving stimulants is, but is craving downers a symptom too?
What I mean by Barbituates is Alcohol, and what I mean by stimulants is niccotine and Caffiene- though other forms count as well. Most bipolar and Schitzophrenic people drink a ton of coffee or chain smoke or both. It is a known symptom.

I have a bed bug problem in my apartment. I have been getting bit. So my logic is, alcohol is bad for the human body, therefore it is bad for a bed bug. I don’t know if that’s true. So if I drink alcohol, the alcohol goes in my blood, the bed bugs drink my blood, the bed bugs ingest the alcohol (which Im hoping will be a lethal dose considering their size), and die. Plausible?

I work in an industry that requires interaction with customers and members, and quite often consumption of more then my fair share of alcohol. My job also consists of a lot of early mornings where I need to be sharp and at the top of my game and all to often I’m hungover from the previous night’s festivities. Does anyone have any quick remedies to cure a hangover?

Because all arguments don’t make sense at all…
Genetic/Hereditary – even laziness can be hereditary…that’s why when women donate their eggs they’re required to be "perfect, college educated, etc"
Lose of control – people who are fat keep eating without control and eating is not a disease, people who like to speed up on high ways can’t help it either and it’s not a disease..having sex is for many people uncontrolable too Addictive – internet is addictive too…there are a loooot of people who couldnt live without it…but it’s not a disease…and many other things are addictive too (and cause you damage), but are not diseases
Changes the body – eating also changes your body, exercising also changes your body, having babies also changes your body, ingesting lead also changes your body…of course that if you put something toxic in your body it will damage it

At the most, it is an illness (causes you to feel really bad)…but the fact of not stop drinking is not a disease.
I’m just asking because I’m writing a paper for school saying that alcoholism is not a disease…so I’d like to know why 90% of people think it is…

also, i’m a foreigner, so dont criticize my english…i’m still learning
So alcoholism is an allergy?
and the result is desire?

I understand that you can have an allergy to alcohol and not tolerate it…
but have an allergy and want it?

is alcoholism the only allergy that instead of repelling you from the alergenic, makes you want it?

Hi, My husband has a liver disorder and his doctors have said he has a high increase level of enzymes and believe it has filtered into his blood. I believe the excess of over-the-counter drugs caused this and alcohol. Is there a cure? If so, please let me know.

I’m writing a paper saying that alcoholism is not a disease, and I’d like to know from the people who this it’s a disease, shortly, what are the main points that make alcoholism a disease?
anyone?
thank you.
well…lead is also toxic…it can be devastating. so…based on the argument that alcohol is toxic and cause you damage..are we all diseased because we can’t take lead? drinking something toxic can cause a disease, but the fact of drinking it is not a disease…
what do you think?
(ps: personally, i dont know and i dont care…it’s just a school project, so I’m just doing my part)
