I hardly see patients of HIV/AIDS, Polio, etc in spite of the roaring jingles, yet malaria patients at all ages are being killed by the disease on daily basis. Something might have gone wrong somewhere.
I’m a student that has to write a 10-15 page paper and give a 10 minute presentation on a pathogenic disease. I don’t want to do it on something everyone has heard of before (like AIDS), and I don’t want to do it on something depressing (like muscular dystrophy) or sick (like gonorrhea). I was thinking like something more along the lines of Kuru, a disease that you get by eating other people’s brains. Do you know of any other interesting pathogenic diseases?
i know plague strikes and aids an some more
but what do u need 2 look out 4
and is the cure 4 every disease found ?
I want to get off of ambien and sleep aids all together, but when I try to do it myself, I get extremely sick and can’t stop shaking and vomiting. If I make an appointment with my doctor, what can he do for me? I dont feel that my problem is big enough for "rehab", but I definitely know that I need some sort of intervention.
I just had a random weird thought and wanna know if there is anything to it. So bed bugs and several other bugs live off of human blood right? Ok, so what if someone in your apartment complex or maybe even in the same apartment with you has HIV or AIDS can it spread through them? If a single bug feeds off more than one person in a short period of time, wouldn’t they be dropping blood from the previous into the bite? Totally random but I’m kinda curious.
I had unprotected sex one month and few days ago. After one month and few days I suffered from flu but the symptoms were caf, no fever, no head ach, thick nose fluid and no rash, no swollen lymph nodes. Can we say is it early symptom of Hiv aids?
If you have Aids and you stop having sex, Aids will still be in your system. If you are an alcoholic and you stop drinking, alcohol will no longer be in your system.
Besides that, most diseases have medication to treat the disease. What do you do to treat alcoholism, take medication? No, you stop drinking, that’s how.
A word that is commonly found in the definition of disease is "involuntary". But when you drink alcohol, that is voluntary, not involuntary!
I also believe that many alcoholics will say that they have a disease because that takes some of the responsibility off them so they don’t have to be responsible for their actions.
What do you think?
If an animal has AIDS and we eat their meat can we contract the HIV virus or is it killed during cooking? If so then the people who eat pink bloody steak are at more risk than the rest?
What disease/virus still remain in animal meat after its cooked?
Does the same go for anything that comes from an animal like milk, cheese, etc. Milk is not cooked so it would still contain the virus?
