4 days ago my Mom hit my head and I still have a headache.

When she gets home from shopping she is going to take me to the doctor. How will they be able to tell if I have brain damage?

Will this be expensive? I am so worried! Plz help!

It’s unlikely you have brain damage, but you may have a concussion, especially if you passed out (even briefly) after being hit.

A neurologist can check for brain damage with various simple tests, and can also use MRI scans and the like to look for irregularities in the brain. If you were hit in the head and you still have a headache after four days, you should see a doctor and get a scan and neurological work-up, just to make sure that nothing is seriously wrong.
